Your Generosity

I am overwhelmed by the response from the good people of San Fulgencio.
Thanks to Impact Charity , all those that donated food so far and to those annonymous guys who gave €75 for food. I have bought enough food for this amount to supply six families with some basic essentials, such as butter, flour, milk, oil, pasta, rice, cheese, tinned goods, some tinned vegetables tomato frito and tinned pineapples. If you have these things in your cupboard, please donate them. If we can keep this up until Saturday, we will have gone a long way to ease the problems caused by this CRISIS.
In reply to the question about the Social Welfare system, I agree that in this day and age this just should not happen, but unfortunately, some people do not qualify and it is down to the Church and Charities to help these people.

Hi Jeff its nice at you do this for people, but i think is more poor people
but they are in shame to tell people.and here in urb la marina people talk a lot
behind people back

Jeff ,
The position that some people are in,will not disappear, have the council any ideas of carrying on,this splendid idea,I personnally am willing to assist in a volunteer position as i am sure many other La Marina people will be.
If the Council cannot assist in this help
(which I can understand)do you know of any person who is seriously considering starting up a system of helping these people

I agree with what you are saying more than 110%. My mum along with 5 other people over-see the running of impact charity and for the past 3 years its all been about animals which is not a bad thing at all. My own thought on this now is there are 3 well established animal charities on this Urb and one childrens charity and, Paul cunningham nurses. Theres not one charity hhere that do anything directly for the situation that has happend in San Fulgencio now. I wont be afraid to say this people are getting annoyed now about the animal charities and other things to do with them. A year ago no one would say this to you in the open but so many people now are openly saying this now.Im not trying to offend anyone but im just saying what people are now thinking. So if there is anything that can be done all year round where the council could store tin food and goods in case this situation happens through out next year then we will be ready to help straight away. Its going to get harder next year so at least the council could be prepared for this.
Alan did i see you in the mini town hall with a liverpool shirt on on Wednesday

I can assure you,you will never see me in a Liverpool shirt,I have been a supporter of the team with the prettiest ground in England,I am of course one of the few Fulham supporters on La Marina. My jackets normally have FFC badge on them (but after being thrashed by Man.Utd on Tuesday I am rather low profile at the moment (ha ha)
Glad to see we have the same feelings towards those who need our help most

Your not the only Fulham fan im a supporter of fulham too. From the age of 13-15 i was on the YTS scheme. I Played with the likes of Sean davis, steven sidwell. A good friend of mine i grew up with now plays for Swansea, Leon britton.
I was lucky enough to go to a very top sports school based in Raynes park.

Andi there are still people out there who willingly support the animals. We at SAT get lots of goods donated every week by people who love animals and that is not going to change as far as I can see. The people who get fed up with animal charities were never animal lovers in the first place. What do you suggest they do with all the dogs in the kennels, who incidentally have been abandoned by people. Why not start up a lottery or something to RAISE MONEY TO HELP THESE PEOPLE.
